I know this post is late but there is a bunch of Japanese media depicting the Nazis as baddies. What would be a big no no would be a game depicting imperial Japan as the bad guys, Since shit like Jin-Roh and Valkyria Chronicles depict a fantasy version of WW2 where the pacific theater either doesn't exist or japan picked the right side instead.
Name me one piece of Japanese media that acknowledge that Imperial Japan was bad. Since All I can think of is Grave of the Fireflies and a few bits in Black Lagoon. Neither of which were games.
