Do you even know what the junction system is? It goes far beyond "put abilities to raise stats", it actually customize entirely your characters, not only stats, but also your command menu (at a deeper level, with various unique ability), allow to use certain GF for attack or defensive actions (replace your HP) etc... Back then, when it was released, no games where trying to go that deep trying to link everything together (junctioning/crafting/tripe-triad).

I never said that, I said that it's not a spiritual successor because it doesn't share enough with any of those games, that's simple. Crysis is a spiritual successor of Far Cry, Driveclub is a spiritual successor of Project Gotham Racing etc...

Yes and? It doesn't change the fact that parrying matter more, even more than some bosses really requires it, so you will be forced to be good at it at some point or an another.

And my argument is: it's trash visually, and I compare with other games to show you OBJECTIVELY how bad it is. If so, you could call the drawing of your 4year old niece the next picasso with that same argumentation.
