I'm getting ads but they're not annoying enough for me to put the effort into finding a new ad blocker that works, and I don't know about a noscript substitute.
I get investing ads and hardware store ads, I'm sure if I was getting grubhub ads or other junk I'd be a little more proactive.
Still, hope it gets fixed. If YouTube can get around my adblock, so can bad actors.
Is it really necessary to try and stop ad blockers? I don't think it is. I don't want to see ads because I won't buy anything from said advertisement. People that want to see ads will and may be influenced by said ads.
