I hate having to police the table like a hawk. I wish I could trust other players to be reasonably competent and present their gamestate clearly.

>Me on Abdel
>One player on Xyris
>Other on Ob Nix
>Game goes on
>End up killing Ob Nixilis five or six times
>Every time swinging for like 20
>One turn I remove him
>Next turn he's swinging for 18

>I know he has Mana Barbs and Bowmasters, but that's still excessively large for one turn cycle
>Has picrel in play with mana rocks so I didn't see it
>The entire game he's been counting each spell cast as individual pings
>1 spell, 1 ping, 2 spells, 2 pings of 1 each, ect
>I just took the lifeloss when he totaled it because efficiency
>Tell him that's not how the card works
>Too late to fix anything in the game since it's warped everything down to play patterns and removal incentives 10+ turns back
>Scoop anyway since Xyris player has to leave
That shit is so annoying. My entire gameplay would have been different instead of burning removal every time he attacked me. Yes I should be more aware and vigilant, but that gets exhausting. I just want to play a competent game. If you have questions or are unsure, ask them or be very clear with what you are doing, that's what I do.
