I get what he's saying a little bit, but the idea that you can't rewatch a movie is the most braindead take I think I've ever seen. You might not want to rewatch a game's "movie" because it's not a very good movie, but most games HAD the decency to skip them with button presses. Even Half-Life, which people shit on for the era of in-universe cutscenes, had console commands readily available to skip the most fluffed levels, and the sequel even straight up let you choose the chapters. Now you're just kind of fucked with console games hand-holding you along a scripted cutscene the entire game.
