After a certain time of trying to turn Skyrim (specifically) into a souls-like, it ends up stop being an rpg and ends up being more like a hack n' slash/rollslop. In other words, taking the combat outcome further away from the numbers and even more towards player's dynamic actions.
It kind of changes genres. Skyrim does its combat a certain way (many would say it could do better - as proven by mods) and Souls games another.
I don't understand why soulsfags are dying to forcefully combine the two systems.
