I don't think shared interests and hobbies matter are that important and I'm open to discussing anything. That said, I play go, shogi, and chess, like anime and visual novels, and spend most of my time studying mathematics and history of ideas.

I find instant messaging too time-consuming and low quality. I'd rather just read/send a well-written email every few weeks/months.
