To be fair here, Trixie's dad is both in canon and in Tamers an asshole. He literally was said to bail on his family and try to cover it up in Tamers version and in actual G4 the people who made him openly imply her to be some kind of bastard child and him a deadbeat as when questioned they said he likely didn't even know he has a kid.
