I'm shamelessly reposting this from last night, but I want to get the day-crowd's opinion too.
>Kris
>Working with the Knight/Carol/Asgore(?)
>Backstabbing his friends
>Setting up his mom for kidnapping
>Actively being more independent from (You)
>Halfway point of the game/story
I'm just going to make a bet on this game's bittersweet 'best' ending, like Asriel being the only one you couldn't save in Undertale. Kris is going to turncoat and have no true route of coming back. It feels like he's in a Catch-22 situation and is ultimately going to go against his friends and (You), as he has already proven he's willing to do. I'm willing to bet he's going to become the second Knight in the prophecy, completing the Trio and be his point of no return.
Still pondering it, what do you guys think?
