I have some insider info on the upcoming LEGO Pokémon theme. The first wave is set to release in January 2026 and will include seven sets. The biggest set is a buildable Pikachu, similar in style to the Stitch set, and it’ll retail for around $150.

All the sets will feature buildable Pokémon along with some molded, smaller ones. We’re getting characters like Charizard, Pikachu, Squirtle, and more. Trainer minifigures will be included too.

Each set will also come with a printed tile designed to look like a Pokémon card. These tiles are a new size—not minifigure scale—and will be randomly packed. It’s shaping up to be a pretty unique hybrid theme. One of the sets will even include a Pokémon Center.
