(all different kinds, shapes and sizes.) those are called "SNOT" or "Studs Not On Top." using those, you can functionally make a cube with studs on all six sides. then simply make the slopes around each edge. Just bought my 4th copy of this battlepack and used parts from two of them to make this AT-RT and tri-fighter. I got the instructions from online but modified them slightly to be more accurate since I have a lot of extra parts from not building any of the ugly ass official speeders. I still have a lot of extra parts from this endeavor, but am not creative enough to come up with much else with this set of parts. The best I could come up with was a grenade backpack and grenade launcher for one of the B1 droids.

Sure, but from what I gather from designer interviews, studios give LEGO notes on what they can and can't do to avoid spoilers for the film. However, in the end, LEGO decides which sets they want to produce. For example, Disney/Lucasfilm told LEGO they should produce a set like pic related for Rogue One, but LEGO decided not to because they wanted to do Krennic's shuttle—a vehicle that barely appears in the film. Meanwhile, pic related had a substantial role in the film. In the end, LEGO makes the final decision on which sets they will produce based on what studios give them. Also, most of the time, the reference material is concept art, which is why the sets often look different from the final products in movie tie-ins.

Also, LEGO will decide if a movie or show is worth it to receive sets based on interest and franchise fatigue, which is why we don't have any Superman movie tie in sets yet, because Zack Snyder killed the DC brand for a good period of time.

I did a good amount of selling about 8 years ago (maybe 300 big sets and a bunch of polybags), the only person that tried to screw me was an eBay buyer that bought and sold LEGO regularly and tried to claim that I shipped an expensive sealed set in a padded envelope (I always ship in boxes) and it arrived scuffed up, had to do some sleuthing and luckily saw they bought the same set a little earlier (cheaper) that matched the photo they sent me and they were just trying to do a switcheroo.

Why are there so many people on places like ebay selling sets that are still in production for retail price or possibly even higher plus shipping? What is their endgame in selling something for higher than it can be bought from the official Lego site (the worst possible deal you can get on Lego most of the time) with worse customer service and slower, paid shipping? Do they just make these postings years in advance hoping that the set will get purchased once it retires?

I have some insider info on the upcoming LEGO Pokémon theme. The first wave is set to release in January 2026 and will include seven sets. The biggest set is a buildable Pikachu, similar in style to the Stitch set, and it’ll retail for around $150.

All the sets will feature buildable Pokémon along with some molded, smaller ones. We’re getting characters like Charizard, Pikachu, Squirtle, and more. Trainer minifigures will be included too.

Not that I would buy that set, because I've never cared about how to train your dragon, but part of the reason that I, an adult, almost never buy new lego sets is because there are only ridiculous large ones, which, after I have one or two of that I really like, I don't want any more of. If lego still did small sets in themes I like I'd buy sets much more often, the last set I bought was the Shadow motorbike set, which was good and small, but I don't see much else like that which I actually want. Agreed, this was my first castle theme as a kid and i still use my Rascus minifig in Mocs but if it counts as a castle sub theme it is the worst by far. Had this set. It was terrible, I was beyond disappointed even as a kid.

Make a wanted list with the parts you want in the quantities you want. Click the easy buy button to find one store that has all the parts if possible.
