I used to miss the AAA multiplayer shooters. But after reading what kernel level anticheat programs actually do, how much shit sticks around when you remove the game, how effective it actually is, and that they just aren't worth it, Im ready to tell the studios and publishers that release those games to go fuck themselves. I have played through much of my backlog that I've realized years ago that I don't need them. And theres cs and games with private servers that I can play to scratch that itch.
