In public worlds people use avatars as bad as the lowest 20% of Balmung Mare users. 200mb IMV/Second Life tier trashy goth is a common. Bleak. Friends+ worlds have better taste, usually, but become exponentially gayer. Depends on the community you find, which usually extends from where you find them. Most people are way younger than you but it won't be an issue. Once you find some autists who like the things you like, you've struck gold.
It's probably a better and more healthy place to edate than /xivg/. I've seen a few people get married off that game. I haven't seen anyone in this general catch the love bug like that.
