i used to love manga as a kid, and i’m back into trying to figure out yasuhiro nightow’s work. the deeper i dive, the more marvelous it gets. so just him, right now. and nature. (animals in motion, physics of fabric, anatomy, etc.)
i come from loving the golden age american illustrators, the russian old masters & illustrators of fairy tales, and similar things. there’s a lot. i like most things.
