Superman is a character with 80 years of history behind him. If they ever REALLY wanted to fight an antifeat war with pretty much anyone, they would 100% lose. Especially with pre-Crisis, where even though it's a technically 'stronger' Superman than the one of today (or at least he's written stronger, I know there's muh whole 'everything in DC is canon' cope) you have hundreds if not thousands of cartoony and goofy antifeats.
It's the same reason Popeyefags never bring up Saitama's mosquito or the cat. But actually a lot worse since even 'serious' Superman has tons of retarded antifeats.
