I can see why you think that anon. I like both. I guess I would have it be a case of the symbiote naturally finding bald to be comfortable but women like hair styles so when they can, then the symbiote fits it. But if a symbiote is tired or injured, I wouldn't mind the hair becoming damaged or gone.
Maybe that's one way of getting both at the same time.
