First Game
>Pretty good
>Web swinging is pretty fun, combat is discount Arkham but serviceable, gadgets were pretty neat
>Stealth sucked absolute ass
>MJ is shit but not super pervasive, Miles being there at all is shit
>Otherwise plot is pretty decent outside of the DLC
>Side content is also pretty good, the backpacks offer some fun glimpses at Spidey's previous adventures, the secret photo ops are full of fun Marvel stuff
>Costumes have extra bullshit on them for texturing but are otherwise good

Miles's Game
>Dogshit story, but it's Miles so we all expect it
>Gameplay is still pretty fun, trims the fat by having no "civilian moments"
>Costumes are lacking because it's Miles
>Some of the training side stuff is fun but I don't remember much outside of that

Second Game
>Story is even worse, Peter is an incompetent fool for most of the game
>Venom powers are ok I guess, hated how they gutted the other gadgets including impact webs
>Actually removed costumes from the first game, every downloadable suit has been some dogshit from "underground artists" who have never touched a Spider-Man comic in their life
>Miles feels completely pointless outside of showing up Peter
>MJ is even worse than she was in the first game
>All the side missions suck, there are none that involve web swinging which is the only fun part of the game left
>On that note the gliding is really boring and not Spider-Man
>A bunch of villains either reformed or killed off screen
>Fun comic references feel really toned down. The Baxter Building has been added but is completely ignored in the actual game, Peter makes no comment on it (although Miles can do the cringey hand cross thing at the Wakandan embassy)

I am not looking forward to Wolverine or the third game, and I'm glad they cancelled that Spider-Verse game
