that's kind of bullshit. it's one thing to drop-pod through a wooden roof or even a sandstone/marble building, but regular drop-pods that are also used to fucking ship cargo to settlements shouldn't be working like they're Warframe Ramsleds.
Even in 40k they don't use the exact same drop pods for both ground deployments and breaching, they have giant boarding torpedoes they load space marines into that pierce through ship hulls or teleport aboard with terminator armor.

50 steel and 1 component drop pods shouldn't be smashing through your gravship hull like that, that's pure bs
