Thus far Max has been about 0.25s behind pole on average. When he does get pole it's been under 0.1s every time except this weekend and that was only by 0.003s.
Thinking back on it, so far I think maybe just Saudi Arabia was the only event where the other drivers fighting for pole didn't make obvious large mistakes that cost them pole.
