Ok fine, I'll be honest for once. I'll come out and make it simple:
Chinese like what I like. Chinese hate what I hate. Chinese buy games that I buy. Chinese don't buy games that I don't buy. Therefore I am feeling cocky because, suddenly, there's like a billion anime loving weeb motherfuckers out there, funding games and sequels that I like.
And you can't do fucking ANYTHING to them lmao. They don't listen to IGN. They don't read tweets. They can't be shamed. They can't be pressured to Body Type A/B their media because they have exactly ZERO (0) amerigolem bases on their soil. They don't give a single solitary FUCK about westacucks.
That's really the core of this whole thing. And now the prospect of them making AAA vidya, again mostly inspired by the games that I enjoy too, is even more terrifying to the narrative holding westrannies and their journalism apparatus.
My unironic GOTY of 2024 that got borderline sabotaged by Snoy exclusivity/lack of promotion, sidelined by plebs and ignored by journos and westamutt e-celeb influencers? It got 54% Chinese playerbase on Steam when it got ported.
I wasn't alone. I was just surrounded by retards. I felt so encouraged for the future.
