I'm even fine with the other endings, because thematically they make sense. Every single ending has a sacrifice attacted to it, so to speak. But "Don't fear the reaper" into "Path of Glory" is probably the most Cyberpunk out of them all (emphasis on the word Punk).

Fair point, however to nitpick a little, that is a gameplay design issue, not an issue of the script/plot of the game.
