And I just wanted to clarify on why he is pretentious. Some idiots like to say that "he's a good writer but not a good superhero writer" but the man is a capebab through and through, a manchild that still plays with action figures. If any of these people even bothered to listen to him talk in a podcast or something they'd know he's a self declared Marvel zombie and when he was getting his break in comics someone at DC arranged for him to meet Karen Berger to pitch something for Vertigo and he was like "ughh, Vertigo? I don't read that. Make mine Marvel!". All he reads is superhero comics, so the fact that he still kind of looks down upon them is incredibly pretentious, he considers himself above it, but he stays at that level. People really want to paint him as an Alan Moore inspired guy but he's not, his vocabulary is very limited and the characters often resort to these very childish ways of talking where it's simple words repeated over and over, it's always "bad guys" and "good guys" with him. He's actually Bendis, funnily enough, there's even one page of Alanna on the toilet in this.
