their reasoning is if you have to be compensated in order to consent to sex you aren't really consentint therefor your a victim and the buyer is basically a rapist (you can argue that all work is nonconsensual with the same reasoning, but that is ignored).
Then they expand the definition of prostitution to any monetized sexual favor (like paying someone to stick a cucumber up their ass and take pics of it).
However consuming porn (as long as you havent comissioned it apparently) and watching strip teases is legal for some reason.
