not to mention ou draw less compositions overall with 2x3, a manga artist who is expected to crank out new chapters every week would only need to make 6 individual drawings per page, around 13-18 pages each chapter, on reletively smaller page sizes, alternating at times to 6-8 drawings when needed. depending on the author sometimes changing between 2x3 to 2x4 like toriyama did in dragon ball, its mostly a mix of preference and necessity
