I just don't know where to put Command & Control marines.
Put them with a MotL and the entire unit sucks at melee.
Put them with a Siege Breaker and you get a guy who wants to melee in a unit that doesn't.
Put them with a Praevian and you take Intelligence tests on Int9 at -2 to the score...but it prevents the Praevian from joining the Automata itself.
