This second orb is very confusing!
The resin isn't reacting at all like it did on the first time. The surface was hard as a cannon ball after 30 minutes and the ticks were frying, but this time it's been more than two hours, the ticks aren't frying at all (it's nowhere near as hot... yet?) and the first few milimetres of the surface of the first are still liquid. But I ran into another problem, since this orb taking way longer: it's past 1 AM and I need to sleep.
I just added a second layer, and it's coming out pretty good so far, although I've been pouring ticks sparingly on this orb, out of caution.
It's hard to see on this pic, but it's looking MUCH better. Fingers crossed that I don't wake up to a bubbly, floating mess of a failure.

Hedgehogs are nocturnals, I would still need to store them somehow.
Any idea on how to immobilize them?
