High school ends at 15-16, but you HAVE to get a secondary education. Smarties go to college, those who want jobs or have bad grades go to trade school.

I had alright grades, but hated being in school, so I picked trade school as I was told its the faster route out. I picked the one my guidance counselor recommended, but it turns out it was a school with incredibly low entrance requirements.

Due to the low entrance requirements, it was filled with people who got insanely bad grades, did not give a shit about school, or the rare few who were interested in the subject. Due to this crowd, a ton skipped class, and the teachers did not give 2 shits about it. I ended up just staying home calling in sick everyday after summer vacation, eventually though they held a meeting saying either come back to school or get kicked out. I finished my degree at a workplace at 18, giving me experience. Once I graduated I quit that shitty job and rotted for 7 months in my apartment, and then got this job at 19.
