I have been summoned.
28 gauge ammo is super easy to find, and nearly half the price of 410 ammo. Almost any gunstore will have the ammo.
I buy all my shotgun reloading components from Bilozir.

For hulls I got a big bag of primed 28 gauge chedite hulls from them, but you could also buy 2 boxes of 28 gauge shells at a gunstore for under 50$, shoot them and keep reloading the empties.

For wads you'll need 3 kinds: Nitro card, Felt Wad, Overshot Card.

Use the Maxi Nitro Card .125 in 28g size for plastic hulls, or in 24g size if you use brass hulls. This gets placed overtop the powder.

Use the Felt Wad 20g size for either type of hull. Goes in between the Nitro Card and the shot/slug.

Last is the Overshot Card. You only use this for birdshot/buckshot. It'll fuck a choke if you use it with slug or round ball. Goes on top of your shot charge and press fits into the shell to keep it in place. Use a 1/2" wood dowel for this. Melt beeswax overtop this card instead of crimping to keep everything in place.
Use the 28g size for plastic hulls and the 24g size for brass hulls.

Reloading's pretty well the same as simple 410 reloading without a press. Use 54cal muzzleloading round ball for slugs. Let me know if you want more info on anything, and good luck fren!
