It's meant to make you question why the fuck you were cheering for a clearly mentally unstable child to die for copying the abuse from her clearly mentally unstable mother on another. You shouldn't be happy about this.
And to drive that point home, we get Shizuka's ECSTATIC reaction. She lights up for the first time ever and becomes so damn happy over it and it's clearly extremely wrong. She's mirroring the audience's feelings from just moments ago and it's meant to disturb you. But so many seem to just agree with her instead.

If you legitimately think this 10 year old should have her head bashed in after all this, you need to seek help.
