That could had been a good game rebranded as Heretic and I would had bought it but it was not anything the fans asked. Eternal already shaped itself as a great game and expectations were high.
Dark Ages comes off as an executive mandate and a complete let down.
I might pick it up when the Master Levels release and the game gets a 50% discount on Steam.
Anyways what went wrong with DA specifically is that it was tailor made for High End GPUS most people do not own.
It is this gen Crysis.
South of Midnight is actually good but much like Control, well pic related...
As for Stellar Blade, I agree with the other anon that it is a good game despite being coomer bait, and yes I bought it.
That said I feel the game is making waves among brown people because muslims are sexually repressed, Chinese are neurotic and want western women desperately and Hindus are essentially apes that fap constantly, it simply resonates with most of the planet. So yeah, you are not wrong but I think the Perfect Dark model was not that bad to call it a tranny, I feel /v/ exaggerated on that regard but that is just me.
