I went to that event yesterday and spoke with a bunch of people in the lines.
Loads of people from the country traveled a long distance to attend, even if it meant standing in line for near 2 hours, there was no way regulars were going to hang around for that. The people in line were proudly flaunting their ZZZ merch and other weeb gear, do that in London on your own and you will get targeted.
The weather was very rainy with flood and thunderstorms warning were brewing on the day of the event, so that likely put some people off from attending.
