Rock 'n' Roll, it features a good variety of characters and lets you select which level you want to pick, beating the game with different characters also unlocks different stages you can play in a run.
Reboot is also a fun time, it's a remake of the X68000 version of the first game while coming bundled with a faithful remaster of it. Scoring in the remake is a lot of fun since you have to manage which crystals you want to turn into points or magic spells and when to turn them into points. Magic Barrier still trivializes the game btw.
2 and Boomerang are great games but their ports are shit, you're better off using Mednafen.
