Everything from the art style to how the anime is storyboarded. Scene of something happening suddenly cuts to Rudo seething and screeching annoyingly. Rudo and Enjin having nonsensical dialogue and Enjin doing that zipper thing with a zipper sound effect when they first meet in what appears to be an attempt at "humor", instead of just telling him to "shut up or they'll hear us". That entire scene of Rudo falling with death metal as the BGM of choice. That entire scene of human trafficker guy explaining why they hate spheroids, except he has to look like picrel and the voice acting has to sound like he's about to fucking jizz his pants for some reason.
Basically it feels like it was written/animated for kids with ADHD
