You can tell ufotable are filled with Shinobu fags, they were the ones that pushed her hard in promo materials way back in Season 1, some along with Giyu which made shipperfags think those two were borderline canon OTP. Now they give her a good final fight against someone she had no chance against just to give her a respectable swan song.
