Delete your social media, delete YouTube from your phone, block porn sites and force yourself to stop watching them. Do some physical activity every day, even if it's just light exercise (I know it sounds like a meme, but your dopamine receptors are fried and that’s part of how you fix them). Then focus on finding real solutions to the actual problems in your life instead of chasing forms of escapism. If the problem is your education, consider getting help from a tutor. If you’ve got a shitty job, look for a new one, and so on. Throughout all of this, put the whole creativity issue on hold. Some people manage to be extremely creative in their darkest moments — clearly, you’re not one of them. And without at least a bit of peace of mind, you’re not going to get anywhere. I know it might seem hard, but I think you already know which parts of your life need fixing. Start with those.
