Jesus looked Italian.
An 11th century Slavonic translation of Josephus' 1st century History of the Jewish Wars, contains a fragmentary insertion of an account allegedly taken from an eyewitness of Jesus. It reads that he “was a man of simple appearance, mature age, dark skin, short growth, three cubits tall (four and a half feet), hunchbacked, with a long face, a long nose, eyebrows meeting above the nose, so that the spectators could take fright, with scanty hair… and an underdeveloped beard.”
