How do I convince my mom to let me hook up my old PS3 to the living room tv so I can play Oblivion on the couch? The tv has way better colors than my shitty monitor and playing the game on a couch is just delighful.

Even though I sit in my room all day, I play games only for a couple of hours (less than a runtime of a movie) so it's not like I'll be there 24/7. But she still says I can watch movies at best but no games.

How do I convince her? I'm tired of sitting in my room all summer and want to change the environment a little bit.
