That's up for debate. Could be disobeying the law about the rope. Could be intruding when she declined at first, defeating her remaining resistance to despair. Could be subsequent deaths. But 'original' implies that it's inherent in their conception of the world. I think the original sin was not accepting despair as part of reality. Trying to make others happy instead of trying to understand the absence of happiness.
