I did a playthrough earlier this year, and getting the pistol damage perks/stealth perks, combined with stealth weapons that automatically give you a huge headshot bonus when unseen, it kinda trivialized the game. I ended up switching back to Archangel and going full cowboy instead, but even then that gun is still a 2 shot kill. I didn't even attempt a "build," just chose perks that suited pistols.
