>are you and your partners outwardly "normal?"
Outside of being somewhere slightly on the spectrum, I'm pretty normal; probably a 9? First girlfriend was a 10, current one is probably a 9, maybe 8.5 if I'm being harsh. She's about as, if not a little more, on-the-spectrum than I am. Most of it is invisible unless you get to know her or are actively looking.
>Is it just the chaffing she has qualms about?
Chaffing is the big one due to pacing a lot, but she's super paranoid about privacy. She's also raised the concern about long-term wear causing incontinence, and if I remember correctly urinary tract infections and/or skin rashes. I'm sure some of my own earlier anxiety surrounding wearing had some effect as well.
I have roommates and they're kinda omnipresent. University students be like that. While I've gotten confident wearing under my clothes around others, she most certainly hasn't. They're seldom both gone at the same time with enough leadtime for me to grab her to try anything. Annoyingly, this last week was one of those times.
>Little Kings
Never tried them; outside of ABU never having mediums in stock, they're $57 CAD per pack. If that's the price to get a diapergirl of my own, I'll bite. ABU tends to be above my price-per-diaper level, and I've never really tried cloth-backed so I don't think I have any in stock. But any cloth-backed and powder should work to alleviate chaffing.
>As far as the wording goes...
I think you've mostly hit the nail on the head there. That's pretty close to my own feelings, but I don't think I was able to properly convey that last time I talked with the GF about it. At least in part because I didn't understand it fully at the time. Something close to that might work and if I can find a day after that point where we're guaranteed to be alone...
I'll mull it over. You might've offered me a solution to a problem I feared unsolvable, Anon.
