Millennials weren't able to get jobs back in the 00s themselves and are still struggling for "real" employment. The entire point of the system is meant to sell boomers the idea that America is where it was 40 years ago and that anything like suicidal kids and floods of shitskins are "not that big a deal" and there's a political will to punish and deal with those problems. Never solve or acknowledge that's where policy has gone over the last couple of decades. No has any grounding in reality or statecraft anymore.
