Feels pretty much the same so far, but with a few minor QOL changes.
>Map rotation, and the time wasted waiting for it to change, is thankfully gone.
>You're able to jump deeper into the dungeon after about 2~ minutes into the match instead of 13~
>Module placement randomization + fog of war on the mini-map
>Crypts has a boss room now so it's not a filler floor between Ruins and Inferno
>removed bunny hopping's ability to negate move-speed penalty from switching weapons or casting spells
>sorcerer seems like a hyper-offensive wizard but idk how to play it effectively
>religion is still a fucking useless feature that shouldn't have had dev time dedicated to it
I like the continuous dungeon, and the randomized rooms+FoW helps make the game feel like a dungeon crawler again instead of ignoring 75% of the map and bum rushing hotspots/spawns. It kinda fucks with the quick escapes you could do on Ruins though. Like in this room for example: you could hop onto the chest, then jump over the wall into the eastern room without having to stop to open a door. Now though, that same wall was extended all the way to the map ceiling, forcing the player to open the door instead. I dunno, I'll play a while and see what the next wipe brings then maybe shelve it if I get bored again
