>not the type to instantly get excited over anything
That really sucks. And it's not because you're intelligent either that's just massive cope. You've burned your brain up a bit too much. Things you like simply don't make you happy anymore? You don't even get excited at the idea of romancing the new Naoto?
>if I'm disappointed by the changes, then there's absolutely dick I can do about it
Being disappointed (having expectations that are not met) doesn't mean you can't still try to enjoy something regardless. I'm sorry for you if that's your reality though, expectations are toxic
>anxious moody bitch
There's really nothing to be anxious or moody about when it comes to a video game getting remade my friend. It's not your real life. The original game always exists for you.

If I dropped a game just because I was frustrated at it, then I wouldn't have enjoyed Persona 4. The game was 10/10, but I didn't even really like it for the first IDK 5-6 hours at least? It took some time before things really clicked and I began to care about the characters. Some time during Yukiko's Castle
With Persona 5, I didn't much enjoy Kamoshida. But I really liked Madarame. And I've enjoyed the game a lot since then. So it took like damn near 15-20 hours of playtime before Persona 5 "got good" for me.
