I forgot to add a note to the first one, but I like to call it the G1-off because Rickey and Tarumae hold the #1 and #2 most G1s won in Japanese keiba history respectively, winning 21 between each other (Rickey 11, Taru 10) and 2014-2016 was when they butted heads. Fun fact, Rickey broke Tarumae’s record also on his swansong race.
