Is the "Big, Beautiful, Bill" perfect? Of course not…any bill that can pass both the House and the Senate will never be perfect. We have to understand that NO bill which cannot pass both houses is worth a fuck. We also have to understand that passing no budget isn't going to work, either. This bill, with all its faults depends heavily on economic growth. IMHO, growth is the best (and perhaps only) way to get out of our current economic mess. If this bill spurs growth, it will be "good enough".

Folks, prior to AD1979, under the Shah, Iran was a prosperous nation that was on its way to being a modern technological society. It had an internationally recognized system of higher education, and women had plenty of opportunities in education and business. Iranians could travel to anywhere in the world.

All of that disappeared under the Shi'a theocracy.

As a Jew, it is my opnion that a return to Pahlavi Iran would be a tremendous improvement in the lives of Iranians. It is up to them!

Why would President Trump settle for anything less than total regime change? That would fix so many issues, saving the Persian people and possibly restoring world peace and prosperity for years. This would memorialize him for centuries as one of History’s great leaders. These opportunities don’t come around for most world leaders. The only loser here would be China as they wouldn’t get their oil discounts and lose some weapon sales but even they would prosper more from true world peace.
I really hope the world doesn’t squander the opportunity at our feet and try to just kick the can down the road. We’ve tried that approach and appeasement and here we are again. I really hope he does the right thing not the easy thing.
