There's also this guy who also got like Rank 39/40 items through the item world only using a single Prinny before going through the main story and later defeating Baal. I can't suggest watching it because the background noise in the stream is atrocious but it is pretty impressive. He had to grind for like an hour on the tutorial stage before the prinny was strong enough to make it through a low-rank item world.
