Been gone for a bit, but we finally took down gym 3 and 4 in one fell swoop! Maylene was downed all thanks to Soliloquy Jones, who took down her team with 4 Plucks; one each for Meditite and Machoke and two for her Lucario, just barely managing it thanks to a held Metronome. Crasher Wake was a little messier, started with DJ Hecate to take the Intimidate, tried to Hypnosis but Gyarados used a Swagger which of course activated a confusion hit. Thankfully it didn't happen twice in a row, which allowed Tank CTRL to come in on a sleeping Gyarados and murder it with Spark. Horchata dealt with Quagsire easily but took a Tail Whip on the switch-in, which almost resulted in her dying as Floatzel caught her in a Pursuit, but thankfully she lived on 17HP and Tank CTRL got a clean switch to finish the battle off.
Really digging the team right now, I've actually encountered something I haven't in DP possibly ever, which is the feeling of being spoiled for choices, usually at this point it's still fairly thin as to what to go for, so it's a welcome change
