It does suck and it sucks even more growing up poor and being told to make sacrifices and go without... just to watch the parents get money AFTER the kids are all grown up and then saying they're adults and don't need/shouldn't receive help...

My entire life is just a poverty trap and I'd work my way out of it if anyone actually provided the type of wage/salary that makes this a reality. Find that has been impossible too and then one has to "learn skills" here but also keep one's self alive working unskilled labor to somehow poke-evolve into skilled labor...

People with rich, generous parents just skip straight into "fun, skilled labor they are passionate about" and aren't expected to slave away first.

Upward mobility is non-existent. It's "the rich make their children richer.. compete with that."
