Here's the plan, since it's past 11PM already and I want to check a couple of tutorials again: tomorrow, I'll fill this mold* while adding the ticks.
So far I have 3 concerns:
-Air bubbles. I'll try to mix the resin gently and thoroughly. The ticks probably won't help keeping it bubble-free.
-Getting the exact mix of resin right. It's a BIG mold (11 or 12cm in diameter).
-Spreading the ticks somewhat evenly. I'm concerned they will go up or down or whatever as I pour the resin. It's going to be bitch putting them back in place if they go touching the walls. All while trying not to create air bubbles.

*I purchased a silicon mold with a big top opening, instead of those cheap plastic half-spheres with a tiny top opening.
