Again, our military budget - including air force budget - is larger than that of Romania and we were only looking to buy 8 F-35s. Meanwhile America is selling 30-40+ to Romania. America even tried to sell us Block 70 F-16s that actually would've been MORE expensive than F-35s. So don't say it's about budget, it's purely politics.

Anyway, America doesn't need an active kill switch, it can just refuse software updates.
